close to perfect!!! October 24, 2008 This bag is awesome!! It's not too big and not too small! I can fit my camera(canon 350D) with an attached 200mm lens, external flash, an 2 more smaller lens(or 1 big one). depends! the camera compartments are adjustable which is v. convenient. my mac book fits perfectly! i think it accommodates a 15.4 inch laptop. there are a couple extra pouches for ur other stuff. this bag feels excellent on ur back!! not too heavy, it almost kind of lightens it actually.. doesn't really weigh u down. shoulder pads n back are cushioned. the laptop area and camera area of course are solidly built.br /the only disadvantage is there's no tripod holder.. and if i wanted to carry a note book i couldn't..unless it was relatively small.. or unless i stuffed it in in the laptop compartment.br /I would dfinitely recommend getting this bag. quality price wise it's pretty damn good!
Awesome bag! October 18, 2008 This bag is great! Plenty of room and just fits under the seat on the plane. I mean it just fits, if you overload it, I wouldn't count on it. It handles weight quite well! I went to Hawaii with my Macbook Pro, 2 external harddrives, Magazines, iPod, cables, etc. The weight wasn't bad. BUY THIS BAG!
great pack October 18, 2008 I got this for my hubby for our anniversary and he loves it. I believe he has the Canon 30D w/ a couple different lenses and the pack fits like a glove. The greatest part is the easy access to the camera while wearing it. The only aspect that didn't work well for him was the waist/belt clip. Since he didn't use it very often, it tended to flap around and get in the way. But he was able to tie them back and it now works out great. Highly recommended.
Flexible Pack October 10, 2008 I bought this pack because I looked forward to quick access to my camera at a notice. I liked previous Lowepro products so i decided to get this one. the 350 was larger but i did not want something too large for myself.br /br /It has what semmed like a small camera area but it holds one DSLR body with a 70-300 lens attached. 50-150mm 2.8 , 17-50mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.4 inside that area. It also has room for a spare battery and rocket blower.br /br /The laptop area is too roomy for my 13 inch but a 15 inch would be fine in there or books/magazines. The top area is a bit small for me. i was hoping for more space. It can hold a sack lunch well with a flash.br /br /The cell phone holder is quite small. I would like it a bit taller and wider. Do not expect to fit anything but a minimal phone in there. I wish it had a chest strap to help me carry it when i load it up but maybe it just means I should cut my load.
Great Pack, missing just two things... October 9, 2008 Overall, I love this pack. Its sturdy, has great zippers, and most of all it allows me to be on a business trip and have not just my business items, but my camera as well. My 13" Dell fits in the slide in pocket along with any comp book or folders i need. All my other travel items fit in the top compartment neatly organized. If I were a professional photographer or a out of control amateur this might not be the bag for me, but it makes a great crossover bag for business or day hikes where you want to carry more than just your camera. Lastly the part I like about the bag I did not know about reading the reviews is that it stands up without falling over so my business stuff in the top stays where I need it and within reach from a chair or a sofa.br /br /Now, the part that needs improvement: br /- Needs a chest strap. When I carry more than 10 pounds in my pack, this is something I want.br /- Waist straps are nice, but I rarely use them, would prefer the chest strap.br /- Needs exterior bungee web to hold a tripod or your sweatshirt or windbreaker when on a hike.br /br /If it had these items it would be a solid five stars.
