Product Description The color values of Opteka Digital Grey Card set have been tested under varying light conditions and show a high degree of spectral neutrality. Using the industry-standard X-Rite spectrophotometer, LAB values of L* 63.8, a* -1.6, b* -0.4 are measured from the surface of the grey card under D50 standard illuminant. For optimum color correction, the black card achieves truly deep blacks (RGB 16,16,15). The grey card displays superior spectral neutrality with measured values of 162, 162, 160. The white card has a tested RGB value of (220, 224, 223). All three cards have excellent uniformity across a range of light sources.

Works as expected. June 22, 2010 Frank Jones (San Jose, CA USA) Great little cards for the money. I usually only use the 18% but it's nice to have a hard card that is so easy to use. focus lock in the distance, hold the card to where it will get similar light, take a pic. When I'm all done point lightroom to the grey pic and let it adjust the WB of all of the pics for that lighting environment. The lanyard is a nice little bonus also.
Cheap and non-durable ---waste of money June 3, 2010 Douglas A. Stewart (New hampshire) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These color cards are only a thin veneer of color on a white core. Don't even think of keeping loose in a pocket. My cards are already transfering colors between cards from slight rubbing together. The gray card has also picked up a brown tint (making it useless for white balance) by simply sitting next to my leather wallet--and try as I might, I cannot clean this tint--it is pemanently stained it seems.
White card has black splothes that won't come off, black card has white showingvthru from wear, gray card stained. Pretty sad--especially since I kept these iny pocket just once.
They are small May 9, 2010 Dennis W. Moore Sr. (Glendale Heights, IL. USA) These work but I wish that they were a little bit larger otherwise no complaints.
Just too small March 21, 2010 Gary L. Brittigham (Virginia Beach, VA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Title pretty much says it all. Guess you could focus on an object 3 inches away. What good is that? Macro use only? Look for something bigger. I ended up with a nice camera case sized grey/white flexible unit that I also found here on Amazon. There are a lot of better choices..

bought this before my trip to italy last year and used it twice if you shot in raw i found it easer to adjust WB post edit.
(I am not a pro so this maybe incorect way of doing it, but i got better pics not using it)
