Every now again you come across a product and wonder how you did without it. I have the Invisible shield on everything from cell phones to GPS and the product not only compliments the looks of the product its protecting but does what it claims in protecting from scratches. Nice to see that Invisible shield went the extra distance to include more solution to spray on your product and fingers
Works Well, Not So Difficult July 3, 2008
The reviewers who couldn't apply this thing are suffering from either fatal clumsiness or misplaced perfectionism. Even though it is obvious that there is a piece of plastic on your screen, it is totally unobtrusive if you are at all careful applying it. And it is certainly more attractive, a bubble or two notwithstanding, than either a scratched iPod or a big, clunky case.

I wanted to give my iPod 30Gb to my girlfriend for her birthday and I ordered an Invisible Shield in order to get a new and clean protection for it. My iPod was not new, and even if I took care of it as much as I could since I bought it, there was some imperfections on the back, but the front was good as new.br /br /The InvisibleShield is very painful to set up, you will have to get rid of every possible dust that may mess around with your device, or you will end up with some horrible bubbles under the shield. After I set it up, I waited for about 10 hours for the result. On the front, the shield was very nicely set up, no microbubbles or whatsoever. But, the back of the iPod wasn't as clean as the front and I have now 4 or 5 bubbles that (I think) will never disappear.br /br /So, to conclude, if you plan to buy an InvisibleShield, set it up on a brand new iPod and it will be perfect, otherwise you will end up like me : not very satisfied.

Despite a lot of criticism on the application of the invisibleSHIELD, it is a rather easy process. Being possibly the least coordinated person I know, I was able to apply the full body shield onto my Blackberry Curve. Regarding fingerprints going onto the shield, if you apply some of the included shield spray onto your fingertips prior to beginning application of the shield (as the instructions say), that problem should be solved. Regarding bubbles, small ones may occur if you are not careful but if your willing to put in the time and effort needed to properly apply a great product, then you will finally be able to use that squegee to get the bubbles to the edges and out of the shield. A thorough application of the shield will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. It should be planned out ahead of time with instructions, videos, and strategy reviewed. However, its not as difficult a task as it may appear or sound. It is simply one you need to take some time out of your day to do. Since these shields are for expensive electronic products, an hour out of your day is a small price to pay to keep them safe.

I found this impossible to apply to my device. No matter what I tried -- and yes, I followed the instructions to the letter and even watched the instructional video on YouTube -- there were bubbles under the plastic. While the larger bubbles could be "squeegeed" out, the small bubbles could not. Having even one tiny bubble in the middle of your video screen makes for a lousy viewing or reading experience.br /br /This is a waste of money.
