IT IS WONDERFUL. IT WORKS GREAT - CHOICE OF SIZE OF TYPES, SMALL, EASY TO HANDLE, AND THE DOWNLOADING OF BOOKS IS IMMEDIATE SHORT IN DURATION (JUST A MINUTE OR TWO FROM CLICKING ON THE BUY BUTTON, THIS INCLUDES BUYING STRAIGHT FROM AMAZON OR FROM THE KINDLE ITSELF.) IT IS SO SMALL LIGHT THAT IT FITS EASILY INTO MY PURSE. I HAVE EVEN DOWNLOADED MY SCRIPTURES INTO IT USE IT ON SUNDAY INSTEAD OF MY LARGE HEAVY SCRIPTURES. I HAVE RECENTLY HAD BACK SURGERY, AND THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT COMPANION IN MY RECOVERY. IT GOES WITH ME WHEREVER I GO!!! Great product with a couple of exceptions. While the buttons for turning pages are very easy to use, they are also too easy to hit on accident when picking up or moving the book. I find myself paging back and forth to find my place. Also, the cover is very poor. The book falls out when opening the cover and it doesn't stay in place very well. Other than that, it's great.

I love my Kindle. I can read books that I choose and never have to go to a book store to buy them. It has changed my life.....being a retiree and trying to stay out of my gas-guzzler.....it's wonderful!! I recommended it to friends and they are ordering the kindle. Too bad Amazon doesn't give commission on sales by customers.

I love our new Kindle! I had my doubts at first, not really knowing how big the screen would be or if I would enjoy reading off of the screen, but I am in love. We're saving paper and space in our house, not to mention the money it will save for years to come since the books are so much less expensive.
