Denon AKP-100 (connecting AVR 4306 to iPOD nano)May 19, 2008 I purchased this product for my Denon AVR 4306. I have connected this to an iPOD nano. This cable is the only recommended cable for iPOD connectivity to the AVR. Upon connecting the iPOD and selecting the iPOD option on the AVR, the iPOD can then be controlled via the Denon/remote control. The controls are logical and simple from the Denon unit. Only audio functionality is available. The sound output from the iPOD via my Denon unit is excellent given the AAC compression of the tracks from Apple/iTunes. The cable does not support video functionality. The iPOD can also be charged via the Denon Unit. Overall, the product works well. The only disadvantage is the price which I believe to be unrealistic.Denon AKP-100 iPod Cable
Great product!January 28, 2007 My research showed that Amazon had one of the lowest prices for this product. I received it within 3 days of my order! The cable out of the box worked as advertized. My Denon AVR-4306 works just great with all the Ipod's functionalities accessible through the Denon remote. Highly recommend it!

This cable does the job of connecting the iPod to the Denon Receiver. However the user interface is very basic in nature. The Denon remote can be used to select songs.br /br /
