Meh March 10, 2010 Eric C. Lundgren (Dulles, VA) For $10, you can't beat them, however, don't be expecting GREAT sound. While these do beat out the iPod ear buds, they aren't as good as the Skullcandy Titans (See my review there) I bought at the same time. I figured for how cheap these were, I would give them a shot. Might as well have an extra pair of decent buds in case I lost or broke my other ones. The tips aren't as soft as other silicon tips I have tried, so they don't make a great seal in my ears. Maybe with some Comply foam tips these will be better. Even so, when I do get them sealed, their range of sound is just OK. There isn't much on the bass end, but the mids and highs are decent. They sound pretty good and higher volumes without a terrible amount of distortion. Again, these are just above average sound quality, but they will beat out the ear buds that come with any MP3 player. I can't say much of the noise reduction as these didn't seal in my ear 100%, but they did do more than traditional buds.
Good as a back-up set. March 10, 2010 L. Montgomery (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got these as a back-up set for my Sansa Clip Plus mp3 player. The buds that came with the player actually sound noticeably better than these JBuds do, but they do block out more noise. I'll use them when I expect to be somewhere noisy. For less then $10 I'm still happy with the purchase, and am glad to have something in case my other ear buds get damaged or lost. Shipping was really speedy, and this is a good deal for the price.
JBuds March 9, 2010 David Short (Fultondale, AL USA) Had never heard of these before I read about them on Amazon. For the sale price I figured I couldn't lose buying a set. Was very pleasantly surprised with the sound quality (excellent) and the comfort (as if you're not wearing any). Though I am an older ipod user (58) and a late arriver to the technology, I could not be happier with this product.

They're ok... March 8, 2010 Mike (USA) I've had these earphones for about 3 months. They've withstood alot over that time, very durable. These are definitely a step-up from iPod earbuds, however, the sound is quite bland. The highs and mids are great but bass is somewhat lacking. There is bass there, it's just not as wide and filling as I like that you would normally find with other isolation earbuds.
These are decent earbuds, but really nothing special. Don't expect them to enhance any music, as it rather excels in making everything sounds moderate.
Sound great but the durability is not good at all March 8, 2010 Sanjuro (USA) Purchased my JBuds in 10/2009 from Amazon and by 2/2010 I was randomly losing sound on the right earbud due to a cable problem at the 3.5 mm connector jack. Only way I can get the sound to work is by bending the cable above the jack slightly in one direction, but once I release the cable the sound cuts out once more on the right side. I'd consider my usage of these earbuds up to the point when this problem occurred to be frequent but with no abuse. I've always disconnected the earbuds by holding and pulling out the jack...not by pulling on the speaker cable or the flexible rubber piece that joins the cable to the 3.5 mm jack. To sum it up, I like the audio quality of the JBuds very much...but based on my experience the product doesn't appear to be durable. Was considering whether to buy the JBuds J2 or J3 as a replacement, but I'm not sure if switching to a different JBud model would result in improved durability with the same or better audio quality.
