A necessity for the travelerSeptember 24, 2008 This is my second battery for use mostly in traveling. If you travel a lot and do extensive hiking, do yourself a favor and buy a few extras of these. they'll come in handy when you're in the middle of nowhere.
Nikon EN-EL3e Rechargeable Li-Ion BatterySeptember 19, 2008 Battery works as advertised. It lasts MUCH longer in a D300 camera than a D200 camera. I was able to shoot 4 football games with a single EN-EL3e battery with the D300 camera and still had charge to spare - in the past I would have used as least 2 or more of the batteries with the D200 camera.
