| Customer Reviews:
good value November 17, 2008 I had a need for a bigger sdhc card for my eee_pc, knew that 16G was a recently-introduced maximum size, and found the price of this item to be attractive. Shipping and delivery was prompt, a good transaction.
Good buy from Amazon for all SDHC camcorders November 16, 2008 This is a great product for those who want to store HD content using their camcorders or for any device that has a SDHC slot. First, I record with my Canon HF100. Second, I take out the card of my camcorder when I am done with it. Third, the card goes into the connected card reader via USB port. Finally, connect... and I find my files to edit or whatever. Very good. Buy it!
Great way of expanding an EeePC November 14, 2008 It's getting pretty surreal how much stuff can be crammed into a card the size of a 2p coin (or a US quarter) - and this card is about the best deal ever seen in terms of bytes per buck - 16GB on a card costing the equivalent of 26 at the time (exchange rates notwithstanding).br /br /It's expanded the storage of my EeePC to 36GB all told - enough for days of video or weeks of MP3s. It's pretty nippy too - clocks at about 20MB/s transfer rate, as good as a medium vintage hard drive.br /br /AND it comes with a mini USB-SDHC reader for free - bargain!
Works for me November 12, 2008 I have a 14.6MP Pentax K20D and shoot in RAW which produces some large files. The adequate 1GB and 2GB SanDisk Ultra II's I was using in the old 6MP K100D suddenly seemed tiny.br /br /I watched prices of memory cards on Amazon for a while, and picked up this one (and 2 x 8GB cards with reader) to go with the 4 x 4GB Transends (and some Kingston and Lexars) I had. The combos were on sale for cheaper than the card-only price. I don't do much "burst" shooting, but I have not noticed any write-time issues.br /br /The card reader is nice and compact, and replaces a larger and USB-cabled SanDisk reader I had been using. Some people wondered if you can copy to the card through the reader. Yes, you can.br /br /I think I'm set for memory cards, now.br /br /
Love it November 11, 2008 I am using this with Canon Vixia HF100 camcorder to record HD video. The card is perfect for this purpose being fast and having large capacity. I absolutely love the SDHC Reader since the transfer os many gigabyte files from the card is very fast and convenient.
