Ok not worth more than $90 December 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pros: br /inexpensive (I paid $90) - I would say it's worth it at $90 but not much more. br /small - fits in my pocket without being uncomfortable. br /easy to use br /Good pictures in good light br /Battery - charges quickly lasts a while br /br /Cons: br /Horrible night photos br /Flash bleaches the color br /blurry photos in lower light or without flash br /br /All in all this is an ok camera. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but I thought it may perform slightly better at night. Since I'll primarily be using it for hiking (i.e. the daytime), I'm not too worried. Knowing what I know now I may have spent an extra $30-$50 for something better under non ideal lighting conditions, but this will do until I break it.
Great Camera! December 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this camera as a present for my Boyfriend and it was perfect! It looks cool, the pictures are great, it is easy to use with our computer and the rechargeable battery really lasts. We are just casual photographers, taking pictures mostly of our friends and trips but we are totally happy with this camera.
The perfect amount of features December 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had the Fuji Finepix J10 for about a week now. I take a lot of car and beach pics but I am an amateur. The menu system is easy to use and has just about the perfect amount of features for me. I see a lot of complaints about limited features but hey, it's a $100 point and shoot camera. Professionals would never be using it anyway. The people that would be using it are most likely people just like me. The camera is easy to understand and the pics are of excellent quality. My last camera was a Vivitar and the one before that was a Cannon. Both were highly featured and incredibly complex to use for even basic photography. The pics werent any better even when taken by friends that are knowledgable about photography. Plus I never used 90% of the features anyway. They were just in the way. I recommend the Fuji Finepix J10 highly for non professionals like myself that want a solid point and shoot camera. br /br /
Great little camera December 11, 2008 I picked this up on a salesperson's recommendation and found a great price on Amazon. It is easy to use and takes great pics for a snap and shoot. To download the pictures I just connect the camera to my computer and use the standard Microsoft software that pops up. The included software is not really needed.
Excellent camera great price December 7, 2008 The reason I bought this camera was because of the price and let me tell you that it does a lot for it, pictures have great quality and the scene options are great, battery life is good and 8.2 resolution is more than you need. It also shots video at 640*480 and and lower res if you want.br /Comes with charger, battery, usb, composite cable and users manual.br /The works fine on vista and i dont know but i have a little issue on xp, when i try to import directly from picasa becuase they dont load but you can do it the old copy and paste way and youre done. Overall great camer highly recommended.
